Welcome—I’m so glad you’re here. At Rise Yoga & Reiki, my passion is helping you feel more at home in your body and at peace in your mind. I’m a certified yoga teacher (RYT200) and Reiki Master, offering classes in vinyasa, yin, and restorative yoga, as well as one-on-one Reiki sessions to help release stuck energy and invite more ease into your life.
My first yoga class? Honestly—I hated it. But after hip surgery in 2012 sidelined my running, I gave it another chance. This time, I found teachers who encouraged me to meet my body where it was, and that changed everything. What began as rehab became a lifeline. Over the years, yoga has carried me through anxiety, depression, motherhood, career pivots, and plenty of messy, tear-stained mat moments. I’m better for it, and I can’t imagine my life without it.
In 2018, I earned my 200-hour certification with Global Soul Yoga (while pregnant with my second—because why not make pregnancy extra spicy?). In 2020, Reiki entered my life through a dear friend, opening up a deep sense of self-trust and connection that I now love sharing with others.
In 2024, I traded the corporate ladder for something that felt more true—building Rise Yoga & Reiki and pouring energy into my communications work at Rise Communications PNW.
My classes are welcoming spaces where you can move, rest, laugh, or just breathe. Some days we’ll flow, other days we’ll slow down—and I’ll always offer options so you can make the practice your own. Whether you’re chasing an arm balance or simply need a soft place to land, I’ve got you.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me with a book in hand, music on, or out in nature. I’m a wife, mom to two wonderful kids, and the designated chef for my two very senior shiba inus.
